Send pics using Twitter's official picture service

Twitter recently started allowing people to send pictures from Twitter.com, using Twitter's own photo-sharing platform. Until now, only those who are using Apple's iOS 5 beta had access to sending pictures via the new service.

It's dead simple to send a picture on Twitter, but it can easily be overlooked if you aren't sure where to look for it.

To use the new photo feature, you will need to log in to your account on Twitter.com. You will now see a camera icon below the box in which you would compose your tweet. Once you click on it a dialog will be displayed, allowing you to select the picture you would like to tweet.

Once you've selected the picture, you will see a small thumbnail preview of it below the compose text box. If you made a mistake or changed your mind about the picture you selected, click on the small x in the upper-right corner of the picture to delete it.

Compose your tweet, and press Tweet.

Your tweet will be posted as normal, but this time it will have a pic.twitter.com link for the picture you shared.

At this time, there isn't a method for viewing all of the pictures you have uploaded to Twitter, which are hosted on Photobucket, as you can with other Twitter photo solutions such as Twitpic or yfrog.
